Lake Norman

Meet the owner(s):

Jamie Davis

Jamie

Jamie joins the Charlotte Running Company after a successful career in finance. He, Beth, Meredith and Brady, have lived in Charlotte for 14 years. When he's not at the store, you'll likely find him swimming, biking, or running to get ready for his next triathlon.

A lifelong athlete in team sports, Jamie took up running shortly after his daughter was born. Within a year, he completed his first marathon. Shortly after moving to Charlotte, he turned his focus to triathlon training. He's completed over 25 triathlons, 5 marathons, and 5 half Ironman races. His proudest race achievement is finishing Ironman Florida under 12 hours.

Jamie believes whether you're just getting started or always in training, the proper fitting shoe equals better performance and injury prevention. Jamie looks forward to sharing his passion with you and seeing you at the Northlake or Lake Norman locations to help with all your running and walking essentials.

Running to me is as human as it gets. You are out in nature, battling the elements, not worrying about anything but ensuring that you meet your body's demands to get where it needs to go as safely, and as quickly, as possible. Something I feel like has been lost in our society.
